Below are the new features and bugs fixed in the latest version of Crystal for Mobile.

For Members

🆕 Persistence & Update of Dynamic Time Filters

When a Topic has Dynamic Time Filters applied to it, these filters remain applied to the Topic regardless of the actions performed on the Topic Card.

Moreover, as these filters are dynamic, they get updated over time based on the actual current date. For example:

• "today", "yesterday", "tomorrow"

• "this year", "last year", “last week”

• etc.

On Topics Saved in Data Stories

In the Data Storytelling feature, when you save a Topic in a Data Story, you will see the Topic with the Dynamic Time Filters that were applied on it at the time of saving, and you will see them updated in time.

Limitations

Dynamic Time Filters with the following patterns don't update properly when saved in a Data Story:

• Fixed Start Date + Open End Date:

  • "From [month] to today"

  • "From [month] to yesterday"

• Specific Open Date Ranges:

  • "From yesterday to today"

  • "Until today"

  • "From yesterday"
