Crystal is a Decision Intelligence tool that leverages Artificial Intelligence to analyze business data in natural language, just like speaking with a colleague.
It allows you to connect your data sources and ask questions via text or voice from a single input bar, becoming a “virtual brain” that everyone in the company can interact with.
Designed for numbers and analytics, Crystal’s underlying technology delivers reliable and certified information, ensuring the highest level of privacy and security for your business data.
Other than serving as a conversational interface for exploring your business data, Crystal has all the core functionalities of a Decision Intelligence suite.
For instance, Crystal can proactively monitor data to identify events of interest, trends, and anomalies, enabling you to make swift decisions.
It also aids in fostering a true data-driven culture within your organization, as it is designed to be simple, intuitive, and accessible to everyone in the company, not just those with technical expertise in data.
Thanks to its “consumerized” user experience and sharing and collaboration features, Crystal becomes the tool through which everyone in the company can access, analyze, and understand data.

Crystal Projects
When you start using Crystal, you are provided with a personal Crystal Project: a Crystal instance dedicated to a single client.
Also called tenant, it is a private, exclusive and customized Crystal environment with its own infrastructure in terms of data sources, configurations, and permissions.
Starting from the product activation, creating a Project is very fast: in less than an hour, your project is set up and you are ready to access Crystal's workspaces.
Remember
Your Project name will always have the following form:
Crystal Workspaces
Crystal has two distinct workspaces, each referring to different stages of the Crystal experience.
These workspaces are the Advisor and the Console.
The Crystal Advisor
The Advisor is the Crystal Workspace that allows you to:
Talk to your Data
Explore your Data
Analyze your Data
Report and discuss your Data

The Crystal Console
The Console is the Crystal Workspace that allows you to:
Connect Data

Crystal Roles
Based on your goals and on the set of actions that you need to perform on Crystal, you will be assigned a specific role within the product.
As of now, Crystal offers two roles: Admin and Member.
Please Note
It is the Admin that, through the Console, assigns the roles.
Member
As a Member, you can access the Advisor Workspace and leverage its comprehensive range of capabilities for Data Exploration, Analysis, and Reporting.
Remember
As a Member User, you are subject to the following limitations:
the scope of your actions in the Advisor is restricted based on the viewing permissions granted by the Admin User in the Console
you don’t have access to the Console

Admin
The Admin role is the project administrator.
As an Admin, you will access the Console Workspace and gain authority to execute a spectrum of actions linked to Data Configuration, User Management, and Permission Setting, including roles assignment.
Remember
You will also be able to interact with the Advisor by doing everything a Member can do (whereas a Member User will not be able to access the Console).
