## Crystal Projects

**When you start using Crystal, you receive a personal&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Crystal Project**</mark>**: a Crystal instance dedicated to a single client.**

Also called tenant, a project is a private, exclusive and customized Crystal environment with its *own infrastructure* in terms of data sources, configurations, and permissions.

Starting from the product activation, creating a Project is *fast.* In less than an hour, your project will be set up and you'll have access Crystal's workspaces.

## Crystal Workspaces

**Crystal has two distinct workspaces, each referring to different stages of the Crystal experience.**

**These workspaces are the&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Advisor**</mark>**&#x20;and the&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Console**</mark>**.**

### The Crystal Advisor

The Advisor is the Crystal Workspace that allows you to:

* Talk to your data&#x20;
* Explore your data&#x20;
* Analyze your data&#x20;
* Report and discuss your data

### The Crystal Console

The Console is the Crystal Workspace that allows you to:

* Connect data
* Manage users
* Manage permissions
* Configure use cases

## Crystal Roles

**Based on your goals and on the set of actions that you need to perform on Crystal, you will be assigned a specific role within the product.**&#x20;

**As of now, Crystal offers two roles:&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Admin**</mark>**&#x20;and&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Member**</mark>**.**

Through the Console, the Admin assigns roles to other members.&#x20;

### Member

As a Member, you can access the **Advisor** Workspace and leverage its comprehensive range of capabilities for **data exploration, analysis, and reporting**.

As a Member User, you are subject to the following **limitations**:

* the scope of your actions in the Advisor is restricted based on the *viewing permissions* granted by the Admin User in the Console
* you *don’t have access to the Console*

### Admin

The Admin role is the **project administrator.**

As an Admin, you will access the **Console** Workspace and have the authority to execute a range of actions linked to **data configuration,** **user management, and permission setting**, including role assignment.

You will **also** be able to interact with the Advisor, and perform the same actions as a regular Member (whereas a Member user cannot access the Console).

## Crystal Access Points

**There are four Crystal access points:**&#x20;

* <mark style="color:purple;">**Web App**</mark>
* <mark style="color:purple;">**Native Mobile App for iOS iPhones and iPads**</mark>**&#x20;(available from** [**Apple Store**](https://apps.apple.com/it/app/crystal/id1438741933)**)**
* <mark style="color:purple;">**Native Mobile App for Android Phones and Tablets**</mark>**&#x20;(available from** [**Google Play**](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.igenius.crystalenterprise\&hl=it\&gl=US)**)**
* <mark style="color:purple;">**Microsoft Teams App**</mark>

You can access the Advisor from all four access points. However, you can *only access the Console in Crystal's web version*.
